News & Announcements
The last few months we have been exploring care for the earth in various First Day Schools. Here are some links to resources:
Our student this year is a third year law student, who writes about the challenges she faces doing all her work remotely because of COVID, and on a cell phone at that. You can read her letters in English (thanks to Gaby Pryor and Rosalia and Mark Herranen) or Spanish here, the pictures are only in the Spanish version.
Our latest published author, Alex McDonald.
He has traveled to the region and met with both Israeli and Palestinian peace activists. He has seen and experienced glimpses of daily life in the different parts of Israel and the West Bank. He has seen and heard Israeli perspectives as well as Palestinian ones. He has worked with Jewish and Palestinian solidarity groups. He also participates in a monthly dialog with Zionists and Palestinians.
The fifth and final installment of the Houston Grand Opera and Institute for Spirituality and Health-hosted Religare series will be a program on silence.
