Spiritual Development

Pendle Hill, the Quaker study center outside Philadelphia, has some virtual workshops that might interest you. There is a registration fee, but M&N would like to pick that up for anyone who is interested in doing this kind of “spiritual development.”

Even though virtual conferences do not require travel, they do represent a real commitment of time and, for those of you who access the web through a cell phone, it is unclear how connected you might feel with the other participants. Here is what is on offer this fall:

During the December business meeting, the Treasurer encouraged Friends to consider registering for online spiritual development opportunities and seeking support from the Spiritual Development Fund as needed (by speaking to someone on the Ministry & Nurture Committee). Normally, SDF is used to support people's attendance at SAYMA; however, this year that was not an option. Nonetheless, during the pandemic many Quaker and other organizations are moving their workshops into online formats. Here are a few online workshop options for Friends' consideration.
