Dear Friends of Philadelphia Quarter,

 

Trevor Johnson has been hired as the new, part-time coordinator for Philadelphia Quarter!

 

Trevor has a degree from Colorado College(2013) in Religion with a minor in Music. He spent 2014-15 as a Philadelphia QVS fellow at DePaul Catholic School teaching music, then as a QVS alum at Friends Journal, finishing in August 2016.

 

A member of West Philadelphia Monthly Meeting, Trevor is active with the PYM Young Adult Friends (YAFs).

Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends seeks a Coordinator.

Position Summary: The Coordinator is responsible for providing support for the programs of PQM that bring together the Meetings and members of the Quarter community as well as providing information about Friends to the wider community. The work is in support rather than in place of the volunteer efforts of the members.

The rescheduled Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business is May 22nd at Germantown Friends Meeting.

Worship at 10:30pm, followed by a potluck.

PQM Meeting for Worship with Attention to business will be in the Friends Free Library from 12:30pm-2:30pm.

All are warmly welcome to this residential community that is under the care of the Quarter. 

You are invited to gather for Meeting for Worship at 12 noon (please note time change) at Friends Center City Riverfront in Room 105. 

Riverfront resident and Friend Yoko Barnes will welcome us to worship.

Please bring your Brown Bag Lunch,

Lunch and Tours of the facility will start after worship or at, 1PM.  Coffee and Tea will be provided by Riverfront.
