News & Announcements
Attached is the Epistle from Young Friends which was shared at the conclusion of this year's annual gathering of New England Yearly Meeting. We recommend their guiding like to those of all ages.

The theme for Sessions was Provoke One Another to Love. In the plenary session on Sunday morning we heard ministry from Lisa Graustein (Beacon Hill Meeting, MA) inviting us into “re-membering” connection—with ourselves, with one another, and with God. She helped us to remind one another that each of us are seen, forgiven, beloved, and needed in the work of growing into the Beloved Community.
A four-page summary of the 5 day gathering is attached.

With Our Whole Hearts
I hope the stories of faithful living and opportunities for engagement featured in this month's newsletter will bring you encouragement and nourish your spirit. My prayer is that in these turbulent days, each of us might find space—even if only for a few moments—for the refuge, rest, and renewal that will allow us to be who we are called to be. Noah Merrill, Secretary, NEYM

The Love That Overcomes
November 3, 2018
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God –Romans 8:38-39

Every year in August, at the conclusion of the gathering of Friends from around New England ("NEYM"), an "Epistle" is prepared to send to Friends everywhere. This epistle/letter/communication seeks to capture both the practical and spiritual nature of the gathering. Attached is the most recent epistle from NEYM and one from Cuban Quakers.

How are Friends within New England Yearly Meeting being led to address climate change? You are invited to a day-long consultation on Saturday April 22, 2017, at Friends Meeting at Cambridge (MA) to share what has risen during this year and to discern together where the Yearly Meeting is being led.
The attached document includes the program's timeline and how to arrange for a place to stay overnight or childcare.
Registration will open soon.
