Friends Peace Teams' PeaceQuest, Saturday, 21 April

M&C will lead a worship sharing second hour on June 23.

"What is God, Spirit, Presence asking for me to do personally?"

"What is God, Spirit, Presence asking for the Meeting to do?"

We have had times where we threshed through our losses, etc., plus we have had a year of unexpected events.

Now we can begin to form a vision by opening up in worship.

Spirit is not confined.  Open yourself to explore outside the box of the norm.

There will be no Meeting for Worship for Business in June.
Because of Yearly Meeting sessions Thurs-Sunday next week, there will be no Meeting for worship with attention to Business.
MfW will begin at 10:30 on June 16.

State of Nashville Friends Meeting, 2018

Alternative to Violence Committee (ATV) will share their current activity. ATV "... workshops use the shared experience of both participants and facilitators to examine how injustice, prejudice, frustration and anger can lead to aggressive behavior and violence. We explore our innate power to respond in new and creative ways."

Bill Wolfe will lead a discussion of Quaker interpretations of the Easter story.  The discussion will include early Friends' laying aside celebration of holy days, including both Easter and Christmas, a range of interpretations by Friends and others of the crucifixion and resurrection narratives, and opportunity for Nashville Friends to share what in the Easter story they have found helpful, or not, in  their individual spiritual journeys.
