Please mark your calendars for you and your family to attend the Annual Gathering of Alaskan Friends Conference and the Quaker Kids Camp.
This is an opportunity to connect with Friends around the state for worship, play, and discernment.  All are welcome.

Quaker Kids Camp will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28 and end at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday,  July 30.                                                                  

Fun activities include:

• boating and swimming from our new dock,
• playing capture the flag and other outdoor games and contests,
• arts and crafts, like making tie-dye shirts, etc
• cook-outs over the fire, with song fests and some-mores,

We’ll also develop a spiritual community, have spirit-led activities and small spiritual nurturance groups.

Parents and other adults are welcome/encouraged to stay and participate in the fun. We can also accept a few kids without parents if an attending adult is signed off to be a guardian for them.  More details will be made available soon. 

Annual Sessions will begin with with dinner Thursday July 30 and end with lunch  Sunday, August 2.  

There have been many  improvements to the cabin and cooking area, and the new dock provides opportunities for both swimming and boating.
There are also clean, well-lighted outhouses. More information concerning program will follow.
