This September, we gathered to discern where we are led to work this year. Our traditional committee structure has been mostly suspended as we step into this new way of working together. Only the Ministry and Council and Friendship & Hospitality Committees chose to continue in their previous form.
New areas of interest and concern arose, such as attracting families with children, training for clerks of committees, deepening fellowship among Friends, witness in the community, and more.
As we move through the fall and winter, we are, as a body, seasoning these interests and gathering Friends around them in ad-hoc committees and gatherings. We know this will make us more faithful to leadings, closer as a community, and more ready to serve the wider world as a result.
