While there are Epistles found through the Christian Scriptures (Bible New Testament), an Epistle in the Quaker tradition means an advisory or admonitory letter sent to a group of people. Current day Friends use the term "Epistle" to mean a letter sent by Yearly Meetings at the end of their Meetings for Worship with Attention to Business to all other Yearly Meerings of Quakers worldwide. We give thanks for being connected to Friends near and far by sharing this Epistle from our Yearly Meeting, SCYM.
