Quaker Bakers

Six Quaker Bakers met to bake cookies to be used as part of care packages to be sent to Northfield High School graduates, now in college.  These students are all graduates of TORCH, a program that supports underserved students and students who will be first generation college students.
Out bakers were very productive, creating over 28 dozen beautiful and delicious signs of support for the students.  These went out to 14 students.  The packages also included some money, a note of support, and artwork by Astrid.  The hope is to let these students know that their community cares about them and is supportive of their efforts—especially as exam time nears.
