The 2015 Friends General Conference Gathering, with the theme of "Seeking Wholeness," was held from Sunday, July 5, through Saturday, July 11, at the campus of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC (about 50 miles southwest from Asheville, NC).   Many who attended considered this one of the best Gatherings ever held by FGC.

Gathering attenders also enjoyed a performance by Quaker poet, songwriter, and singer Carrie Newcomer, accompanied by pianist Gary Walters.  Although the session could not be taped for copyright reasons, you can view a performance of one of her moving ballads entitled "You Can Do This Hard Thing" on YouTube by clicking on this link.
