There are several individual positions that serve the Meeting as a whole. These include :

MEETING CLERKS

The role of the Meeting Clerk is to coordinate the Meeting for Worship, lead the Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business, attend committee meetings, and represent Cannon Valley Friends Meeting in various capacities.

After experimenting with a 3-Clerk system (Assisting Clerk, Clerk, and Consulting Clerk) in 2016-18, it was decided at Meeting for Business on June 10, 2018 that, for one year only, the Meeting would lay down the succession of three one-year clerk roles and, also for one year only, the the current Clerk's position would be extended by one year.  In the next monthly Meeting for Business on July 15, 2018, it was recorded that "It is the sense of the Meeting to lay down the succession of three one-year clerk roles."  

Beginning in 2019-20, Cannon Valley Friends Meeting will have two co-equal Co-Clerks (approved at Meeting for Business on November 11, 2018) to fulfill the duties of Meeting Clerk. The current Co-Clerks of the Meeting are:

Sharon Lane-Getaz, two-year term (July 2021-June 2023)

Janet Petri, two-yeqr term (July 2022-June 2024)

RECORDING CLERK

The Recording Clerk takes minutes at the Meeting for Business (and other Meetings, as needed) and keeps official membership records of the Meeting.

The current Recording Clerk is Vicki Glasgow (July 2022-June 2023).  There are a pool of those to ask if an Assistant Recording Clerk is needed.

TREASURER

The Treasurer coordinates donations, pays bills, creates and presents financial reports to the Meeting for Business, and works with the Finance Committee on the Meeting’s budget and other financial issues.

The current Treasurer is Kate Stuart (2021-2024).

NAIA REPRESENTATIVE

The representative to the Northfield Area Inter-faith Association attends their regular meetings and reports back to the Meeting.

The NAIA Representative is Corinne Smith.

The Alternate Representative is Jean Vick.

NYM REPRESENTATIVE

The Northern Yearly Meeting Representative attends NYM annual and semi-annual meetings and reports back to the Monthly Meeting.

The current Representative is Linne Jensen.
