A Spiritual Wor(k)ship for growth and discernment of gifts

Public ContentAnyone can view this post

Are you a doubting Thomas?  A burned out Moses?

Or a hardworking Martha?  Why does it matter?

Because identifying and developing your Spiritual gifts, as opposed to your life-gifts or talents, potentiates your work for the Meeting! (aka the "Church” – the people, not the building!)

What?

This is a series of four opportunities for Spiritual work and worship, thus Wor(k)ship, that are designed to facilitate the discovery your gifts, and to encourage you to realize your full potential in service of the Spirit.  And it’s fun!

When?

7:30-9pm, Wednesdays

January 15, 22, 29, & Feb. 5

(Come to one or come to all.  Just come!)

Where?

The West Philadelphia Friends (Quaker) Meeting

Friends Rehabilitation Project (FRP) SquirrelHillBuilding

1018 S. 48th Street

Philadelphia, PA‎ 19143

(It’s on the ground floor, through the gate on the right and around to the back.)

Why?

Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God;

whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies…

- I Peter 4:11

For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you

not to think more highly of themselves than they ought to think;

but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

- Romans 12:3
