Matt Southworth: Why Lobbying for Peace Matters - And Works

Matt Southworth, from the FCNL (the Friends Committee on National Legislation, a Quaker Lobby group) will be visiting Earlham next Tuesday, the 19th, to present a talk titled: Why Lobbying for Peace Matters - And Works.  He is an anti-war activist, an Iraq War veteran, and an FCNL Legislative Associate, currently working on Capitol Hill on Afghanistan policy and drone issues.  He will also answer questions on the FCNL's upcoming 2013 Spring Lobby Weekend in DC, the focus of which is Climate Action.  The talk is Feb. 19th 7 p.m. in LBC 211.  Please attend as you are able!
