Pastoral Care Report: 

Pastoral Care committee met on July 13. Cards have been created for sending to the wider meeting for the purpose of introducing the new committee(Teri, Pam, and Harvin). They will be addressed and sent in August. The committee has determined that now is not the time to hold small group gatherings. We are, however, planning to seek out engagements with Friends on a one on one basis. We feel led to maintain social interactions with those who feel comfortable and in need of such relationships. We are continuing to move forward with the development of questions for an upcoming series of interviews with elder Friends, an effort that will hopefully preserve the experiences of individuals in and with our faith community. 

The Pastoral Care Committee will meet again on August 9, 5 pm, at the home of Pam Matson.

Pastoral Care Members will be reading the article  "Lapsed, Released, Let Go and Discontinued" from June/July Friends Journal and discussing it at next meeting
