Dover Friends Meeting
If you are wondering what God may be, looking for a purpose in life, craving company, or loving solitude - Come to our Meeting for Worship! Find depth in your spiritual life in a supportive community of fellow seekers.
We welcome you to this meeting for worship. We gather in silence, endeavoring to submit ouselves wholly to the divine spirit, which we believe is accessible to every attentive mind. There is no human leader and no planned program. We are all seekers trying to live in the spirit of Christ in our modern world.
Sometimes speaking arises out of the silence. Sometimes no words are spoken. Those who speak are brief and those who listen should do so in quiet attention. A period of silence follows each message. Each person contributes, silently or with words, to the depth of worship we reach as a group.
The soul has no gender, no race, no sexuality. All are welcome.

Dear Friends,
As Friends serving in leadership on behalf of Quaker communities across New England, we join with people around the world to grieve, and to commit to action in opposition to the evils of racism and white supremacy that are again laid bare in our country. We pray for protection for those demonstrating and for all who are at risk.
Sent to city council and mayor to thank them for passing the "Back from the Brink" resolution on August 14th.
