North Carolina Yearly Meeting (conservative) Representative Body

Friends, we recently received this announcement of the Fall Representative Body Meeting.  You do not have to be a named representative in order to go and it is a way to become more familiar with both the people and the business of our yearly meeting.  If you'd like to go, let Margie Dingman know (margie@dingman.org) [before Tuesday, October 22] and we can figure out carpooling [and report our headcount to David Perry].

Invitation from Davidson Friends, 25 September 2013:

Davidson Friends Meeting will host NCYMC Representative Body on Saturday, October 26.  Our new meetinghouse, with a parlor, a classroom, and a toddlers' room, as well as a fellowship space and the meetingroom, will be open and available for committee meetings by 9am as needed.  Committee clerks, let me know if you plan a meeting.

There will be no meeting of the Ministry and Nurture body of the yearly meeting.

Meeting for worship will be at 11:00 a.m. and lunch will be served afterward, about 12:15 p.m.  Representative Body will meet after lunch.

The meetinghouse is located at 625 South Street, Davidson, NC, 28036.  Directions are available at http://davidson.quaker.org.

Please let me know by Tuesday, October 22, how many Friends from your meeting we should expect for lunch.  Let me know of any dietary restrictions for anyone planning to attend.

Please let me know by Tuesday, October 15, how many Friends from your meeting would like overnight hospitality on either Friday or Saturday or both.  Make me aware of any pet allergies or other physical limitations for those planning to stay overnight, and how many separate beds are required.
