Easton Day is the annual commemoration the 1777 "Feathers of Peace" incident when a party of Burgoyne's Indians set aside hostilities and joined Easton Friends in worship.

"We are fortunate to have Cat Greenstreet," said one of the Meeting's members, "because she has a wealth of experience in helping others see their common humanity - as the Quakers and Indians did during the American Revolution. She will explores the shared habits of the heart that allowed such a moment to occur. Drawing upon her experience as a Courage & Renewal® facilitator, an educator, and a spiritual seeker - she will offer a glimpse into the "five habits of the heart," presented in Healing the Heart of Democracyby Parker J. Palmer, founder of the Center for Courage & Renewal. This program is especially timely and engaging for those of us who are searching for ways to help bridge the division in our country."

Those wanting more information may call 518-677-8934.
