Farmington Friends Launches Roof Fund Drive

Update Oct 14: The Treasurer is pleased to announce that donations received today put us over our Roof Fund goal!  Thank you so much to everyone who donated, no matter what the amount, we know you gave what you were able.  Thank you so very, very much for your generosity!

Update Oct 13:  We are less than $600 from our $25,000 goal! If you are considering a donation now is a perfect time!

Our Meetinghouse needs a new roof.  Its a big expensive proposition and our Finance Committee has determined that we should proceed with this project which has an estimated cost $25,000.  We are delighted to announce that an anonymous donor has already pledged over 1/3rd of the amount needed towards the project.  That means those of us who don't fall into the category of "anonymous" need to think about what we can do to help.  A display is in the works for the Meetinghouse foyer to help educate our members and attenders more about this roofing project.  (CLICK ON THE LINK FOR MORE)  The Meeting Treasurer has a new accounting line item in the Income section: Roofing Donations!  The next issue of the Friend will provide more details.
