Farmington Scipio Regional Meeting (NYYM)

We are Friends (Quakers) in the western part of New York State, part of New York Yearly Meeting (NYYM.org). 

Our region stretches roughly from Syracuse in the East to Fredonia in the West. There are 12 meetings in our region and several worship groups, including worship groups in Attica and Auburn prisons and a seasonal worship group at Chautauqua. See map

Meetings for Worship are every Sunday. To find a meeting near you please go to the Meeting Information Page. Many of our meetings offer a First Day School program for children during our regular meeting.

Summer Meetings are held at Chautauqua and Hector. Prison Meetings are held at Attica and Auburn. Meetings for Worship may be programmed and unprogrammed. See the listing for each Meeting for directions and details.

Regional Gatherings

Farmington-Scipio Region meets three times a year, Winter Gathering is held on the 3rd Saturday of January, Spring Gathering is a residential retreat held the weekend before Memorial Day weekend in May, and Fall Gathering is held on the 3rd Saturday of September.  Currently, Winter Gathering is held at Rochester Friends Meeting, Spring Gathering is held at Watson Homestead in Painted Post, NY, and Fall Gathering rotates among regional meetings.
