Covenant Groups

Floyd Friends currently has 2 Covenant Groups. Membership in one of the groups provides a way to walk a spiritual path with others in a setting that is more intimate than Meeting for Worship. The meetings involve sitting in silence, then listening with the heart as others share how the Spirit is moving them at the time of the meeting. Members respond by saying what they have heard the speaker say with words, tone and body language. Support or encouragement is frequently given. We resist cross-talk (advice giving) and all sharing is held in confidence

If you are interested in joining a Covenant Group and would like to know how it has benefited people's spiritual growth, please speak with the Clerk of Ministry and Worship.
If several people are interested in joining a Covenant Group and there is not room to include them in the groups already meeting, there is always an option of forming a new group.

The only criterion for membership is that attendance at meetings be a priority in the schedule of your life.

Covenant Group I - 2nd Monday of each month at 1 PM

Covenant Group II- 2nd Sunday of each month following Worship

Covenant Group for Parents of Small Children - 4th Sunday of each month following Worship, exception being March 16
