UPDATE from the Covid Coordinating Committee 1.5.22

As of 1/5/22:  It was decided that we would resume the in-person portion of our Meetings for Worship, relying on the attendees to use their own judgment in the safety of attending. We do this while urging caution and sharing that most of the members of the committee are not currently feeling safe to attend in person.  It was felt that the situation has changed since a year ago, despite the high incidence of disease, in large part because of the mitigation that vaccines provide.

The guidelines that have been in place continue:

-          Attendees must be fully vaccinated

-          Attendees must wear masks

-          Do not attend if you have any symptoms, or if you have been exposed to anyone with Covid.

We further encourage attendees to:

-          Wear KN95 or N95 masks, as these have been determined to be more effective than cloth or surgical masks

-          Maintain distancing during Meeting for Worship

-          Socialize outside following Meeting for Worship (yes, bring a warm coat!)

-          Consider taking a Covid test

We will continue to ask for volunteers to run the hybrid Meeting, understanding that it may happen that we do not find anyone who is comfortable doing so on any particular Sunday.

We will move a third air filter into the Meeting room, as well as put one in the Uplift Room for the hybrid volunteer.

The committee will be meeting weekly (Tuesday evenings) to review concerns. As always, we encourage Friends to contact us.
