Represents and upholds our traditions and testimonies that emphasize the prevention of violence, the cultivation of friendship in place of enmity, and active concern on behalf of others who may be in need.

Advocates for those in need, who are challenged by our local and global communities.

Collaborate with the larger community of friends, including SEYM, Friends Committee on National Legislation, American Friends Service Committee, and Friends Peace Teams, among others, in order to achieve a society and world that upholds the dignity and well-being of all humanity.

Promotes outreach and inclusion by:

Phase I

   Reinventing movie night to draw a wider audience; Maintain a visible presence at Pridefest;

   Maintain a visible presence at the MLK day march;

   Raise our visibility in the local activist community;

   Supply information monthly about committee activities to the editor of the Newsletter.

Phase II

   Developing activities to attract younger and more active attenders;

   Promoting activities on our FB page, online, by radio, etc.;

   Collaborating with other activist groups. Ex. River Phoenix Center, Books for Prisoners, etc.

   Expanding use of the Meetinghouse to likeminded activist groups.
