How to log in for the first time to Gunpowder’s website, so that you can participate in discussions and view materials on private pages for the use of our meeting community:

Click on the "members and attenders" link.  It will take you to a site asking you to register with FGC (and opt-in, if you choose, for E-mails from FGC).  The site will ask you for your E-mail, name, and other info that is optional.  To get to the next page, you will be asked to replicate the letters in a “squiggle-lettering box” (which protects the site against mega-spamming).  You will be taken through menus to set up a password. You will then get a message from [email protected] informing you that your request has been submitted for approval.  The submission goes to Gunpowder’s web administrator (currently Jennifer Robinson), for approval.  Jennifer will approve as soon as possible.

Be persistent if at first you don’t succeed.  You may, each time you decipher the squiggly letters and press submit, have a problem wherein it will respond to you that you’ve done it wrong.  If that is the case you should receive an E-mail with information to enter which will allow you to complete the process.

All attenders and members of Gunpowder are welcome to become “members” of the FGC Gunpowder website.  Thanks to Alan Schmaljohn for discovering this process and sharing it!

If you have tips on how to improve these instructions, please share them by sending to Jennifer at [email protected].
