Together we nurture the spiritual vitality of Friends

Haverford Friends Meeting

Welcome! Are You Searching?

Are you looking for something deeper in your life? Are you striving to bring your actions into closer alignment with your deepest values? Would you like to join with others to work toward a society that is more peaceful, more just and more in tune with the natural world? Are you looking for a spiritual community that will nurture your children and support you as a parent? Come join with a spiritual community of fellow seekers.

Haverford Friends Meeting gathers at 10:30-11:30 every Sunday to Worship together. When the weather is cold, fires are burning in our fireplaces!  During meeting, we provide Child Care every Sunday and Sunday School periodically. Afterward we have a Social Time with light refreshments.

We welcome fellow seekers of every religious background, ethnic heritage, racial identity, sexual orientation, gender identity and physical ability.

The especially compelling parts of the documentary are memoirs of people who were conscientious objectors in World War II, the Vietnam War, and, most recently, the Gulf War of the early 1990s.
