Heartland Friends Work Day
The Heartland Work Day is next Saturday May 8, 2021 9:00 -Noon.
All are invited to bring a sack lunch and enjoy post-work fellowship on our grounds. A variety of inside and outside tasks are available. Since Great Plains Yearly Meeting will be using our meetinghouse space for meals and committee meetings, this will be our time to 'spiff-up' for visitors.
There will be a work list on both the upstairs and downstairs pass through counters to help folks find a potential chore to work on. Typical inside chores include, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, mopping, and washing windows. Outside chores will include deadheading flowers, pruning trees and shrubs, planting some things, watering and bagging trash to name some of the possibilities.
Everyone is welcome to come and NO contribution is too small. If you can't come to work, but want to bring your sack lunch and fellowship with everyone at noon, please do not hesitate to come and visit.
