Walking the Path of Gratitude: A Labyrinth Walk

Tuesday, November 15, 2016
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.; Meditation – 6:30 p.m.; 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

As we enter this season of gratitude and thanksgiving  . . . what invitations are you receiving from the Spirit?  Who are the people, and what are the events and experiences in which you are deeply grateful?  In what do you experience wonder, awe and thangsgiving?  How can you acknowledge and celebrate these gifts of love?

Gratitude is a gift – it is a grace.  We cannot force ourselves to feel thankful.  Yes, we know that living with a sense of gratitude is good for our health, our relationships and determines how we experience  “meaning” in our lives.  Spending time in meditation, reflection, healing and meaningful conversation, we can move towards a deeper place and stance of gratitude and thanksgiving.  Walking the Labyrinth with a special intention, can be helpful in opening an interior space of deep gratitude and thanksgiving.

The Labyrinth Walk is come and go as you desire.  There will be a pre-walk meditation at 6:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room.  Their will be leaders present to answer your questions, if needed.

Please:  wear clean socks (no shoes or bare feet are allowed on the Labyrinth)

You may want to bring a journal or notebook and linger after your walk for quiet reflection in the Meeting Room, or refreshments and conversation in the parlor.

All are invited to this Labyrinth Walk, however the Spirit is inviting you!

Walking the Labyrinth

is contemplative walking prayer, with the intention of creating sacred space within one’s mind, heart, spriti and physical body.  The Labyrinth, with its ancient dimensions, invites us into contemplative prayer and deeper reflection while providing a focus for our busy, over-worked minds.  As we walk the circular path, we feel life’s stress drop away, and we are opened to the creation of sacred space within.  You are invited to join with other companions on their sacred journey.
