Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk
The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year. Our ancient ancestors took pause on this night to ponder the extended period of darkness, and to set fresh intentions for the much hoped-for light. We too, need times of quiet reflection, and an opportunity to ponder our need for the TRUE LIGHT, who is ever present with us. You are invited to come walk the labyrinth, to set in a specially prepared space to ponder and pray or to enjoy refreshments and quiet conversation with friends.
Walking the labyrinth is come-and-go as your time allows, between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Carol Rivers Mullikin, will share a meditation for reflection at 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room. Feel free to invite others to attend.
This is a joint ministry event with University Friends Meeting, Wichita, KS, and hosted by Heartland Friends Meeting, Wichita, KS
