Childrens' Religious Education at Kennett Meeting

The Religious Education program at Kennett Meeting welcomes all children!

Classes are structured by age:

• infants to 4 years - in the nursery
• kindergarten to grade 4 - in the elementary classroom
• 5th grade and older - the middle school/high school classroom

First Day School begins at 9:30.  At 10:45, children join Meeting for Worship for a brief time, and then return to the classroom for a continuation of the morning lesson or free play.  At times the oldest class remains in Meeting for Worship for the full session.

First Day School meets from early September through late May/early June.  Our curriculum this year is exploring world religions, and seeking similarities to Quakerism.
