As Friends, we are called to seek the Light in everyone. It is our mission to gather and share resources that will allow families facing discrimination and hardship because of their immigrant status to maintain their dignity and remain together. We disburse needed funds directly to the individuals in need, affirming that giving without expectations of specific outcomes is a practice in unconditional love.

Purpose

Kennett Friends Fund for Immigrant Support seeks to help stabilize immigrant families in our community that are facing hardship because of their immigrant status. We are particularly sensitive to the need for aid that other agencies can’t provide, and to be available to those who face barriers to accessing other aid.

Funds are granted directly to individuals who are recommended by our group of community advocates.

Donations to this fund are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donation checks should be made out to Kennett Friends Meeting, with “Immmigrant Support” on the memo line and mailed to the address below. Alternatively, donations may be made using a credit card via PayPal:
