Join us for a simple meal to raise money for Right Sharing of World Resources. Please donate as you feel led. RSWR is an independent Quaker not-for-profit organization sharing the abundance of God's love through funding micro-enterprise projects with marginalized women in Kenya, India, and Sierra Leone. With loans of less than $200 each, these women develop new businesses that benefit their villages as well as themselves. Feel free to print and share the flyer.

The Meetinghouse will open at 5 pm for those who wish to experience the James Turrell Skyspace.  Dinner will be served aboout 6:30 pm

There are many traditions of bringing light into the darkness.  One that has been observed for over thirty years at Live Oak Friends Meeting is a simple candlelighting program where all participants add the light of their candle and the energy of their hope for the upcomng year. We will follow our simple meal with this simple practice. If it feels right we will also sing Christmas carols.
