On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, California's Anti-Death Penalty Coalition will convene in Sacramento to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the moratorium on executions; to lobby in support of legislation to address racial discrimination in the criminal justice system; and to educate legislators on the problems with the death penalty, life without parole, and other forms of extreme sentencing. The day will culminate with a free showing of the highly acclaimed film "Just Mercy."

Breakfast and lunch will be provided and travel assistance is also available -- thanks to the generous support of ACLU of Northern CA and Amnesty International.  However, advance registration is required.
