Nurturing faith and Quaker practice
Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)

Madison Friends Meeting

We welcome you to explore the Madison Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends. We celebrate the inclusion of individuals, couples, or families of all backgrounds and constellations in every aspect of the life of our Meeting. In worship we gather for an hour to listen for the presence of Spirit within-- our inward teacher.

We are an unprogrammed meeting affiliated with FGC (Friends General Conference) and Northern Yearly Meeting (NYM).

Many ways to contribute:

There is an ongoing need for Woodbrooke Day presenters to prepare a lesson for the third First Day of the month, when the regular FDS schedule is suspended. Presenters may explore Quaker history or concerns, teach a skill, bake cookies, or share a personal interest. Children learn something new and our community is strengthened by nurturing connections between children and adults. Time commitment is typically for one lesson a year. You can also volunteer to assist a Woodbrooke presenter by contacting the Program Coordinator.
