PSEC Anti-Racism Forum; Monday July 12 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm: What Do I Say After I Say Hello? Those of us who are White and have explored racism have found that it is all too easy to say things to people of color that are hurtful to them without intending to do so. While we want to avoid doing this we don’t want to become paralyzed in the process. We will explore some of the dynamics of our own identities and also talk about some techniques for initiating conversations that may reduce the risk of harm.
This forum is designed especially (but not only) for those in Meeting interested in getting involved in activities that allow us to more directly engage with people of color in our community.
