"Young" is self-defined for this group of that meets periodically.  Adult Young Friends (AYF) also connect with AYFs in Northern Yearly Meeting and Friends General Conference, and using social media.

We know that many young adults are mobile during this period in their lives, so the wider AYF groups offer opportunities to maintain connections with Quakers when it's difficult to have a sustained affiliation with an individual Friends Meeting.
