It now seems that the mystic’s experience of timelessness, self loss, and union with the whole is shared by more people than one might expect, regardless of their religious upbringing. Many assert that we have all have mystical potentiality, that we all can at least have what Abraham Maslow called “peak experiences,”… the “mystical” way of knowing is field-knowing in which relationships… are seen to be primary, and we are all members of one another. Telepathy and spiritual healing become possible, not as mysterious “powers” but as direct perception and actualization of interconnectedness.
