To know Joanne is to know how she sees the divine in our vast universe. For the past several years, she has shared with us her process in bringing the solar system scale model to Memphis, and we're excited to share with her the model's launch:

Join me on March 24 and 25 for the Grand Opening of the Memphis Voyage Solar System and a presentation on how to best use it to teach Earth and Space Science. The presentations are by Dr. Jeffrey Bennett, astrophysicist at UC in Boulder. He is the originator of the scale model concept and successfully got one installed at the Smithsonian more than 20 years ago! In a separate event he will speak about a ”Pathway to a Post Global Warming Future."
