Meeting for Learning with Attention to SEYM’s Faith & Practice

Invitation

All members and attenders are invited to join members of Worship & Ministry Committee to explore Southeastern Yearly Meeting’s book, Faith & Practice, which serves as a guide and resource for individuals and Meetings as we find our way in the light. Faith & Practice sessions are held at the 9:30 Meeting for Learning hour every Fourth First Day (Sunday) of every month. We held our first Faith & Practice session in the Fall, and shared some ideas about how to move forward. Based on the initial conversation, we will begin this spring by announcing a theme or query and inviting Friends to prepare for the Meeting for Learning as explained below.

• Everyone is welcome to attend whether you have prepared in advance or not. Repeat: everyone is welcome!
• We encourage you to get your own copy of Faith & Practice which is available for purchase in the library or as an ebook online. There are also several library copies which can be borrowed, and additional hard copies can be ordered on SEYM’s website.

Our next Meeting for Learning with Attention to SEYM’s Faith & Practice is scheduled for January 22. Subsequent meetings are scheduled for February 26, March 26, April 23, & May 28. Queries will be announced at a later date.
