Monthly Meeting of Friends of Philadelphia (Arch Street Quakers)
Invitation to Worship
You are welcome to worship with us! Meeting times are listed to the far right.
Visit our Invitation to Worship page for an introduction on how we gather in worshipful silence, intending to open ourselves wholly to the Divine Spirit, which we believe is within and beyond each person.
We gather in-person for unprogrammed meeting for worship at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings. Childcare (which is now available on Sundays) and children programming will follow the protocols of the Philadelphia School District as to masks and vaccination.
Virtual Meeting for Worship
We offer virtual (not hybrid) meeting for worship twice a week via Zoom. Join us Sunday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 AM and on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 PM to share with each other and then settle in to silent worship from 6 to 6:30 PM. All are welcome! Click for instructions on how to join us for virtual worship via Zoom. Or sign up for the MMFP Weekly Bulletin and get the links.

You are invited to join us from 5:30 pm Eastern time (US & Canada) each Wednesday via Zoom. We greet each other, talk about concerns and joys until 6:00 pm when we sit quietly in unprogrammed worship for 30 minutes or longer if someone gives a message, says a prayer, sings a song. The message must come from the heart and be be brief, and be understood to fit in with the prayerfulness of the meeting; we have a chance to turn it into a discussion after the meeting is broken by the host saying "Good evening".
