Invitation to Worship
UPDATE JANUARY 2023: We continue to hold a seperate, non-hybrid virtual meeting for worship via Zoom, twice a week (see below). We are holding unprogrammed, IN-PERSON meeting for worship at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings in accordance with our health and safey guidelines. Childcare (which is now available on Sundays) and children programming will follow the protocols of the Philadelphia School District as to masks and vaccination.
Virtual Meeting for Worship
We meet together via Zoom on Sunday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 AM and on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 PM to share with each other and then settle in to silent worship from 6 to 6:30 PM. All are welcome! Click for instructions on how to join us for worship.

You are invited to join us from 5:30 pm Eastern time (US & Canada) each Wednesday via Zoom. We greet each other, talk about concerns and joys until 6:00 pm when we sit quietly in unprogrammed worship for 30 minutes or longer if someone gives a message, says a prayer, sings a song. The message must come from the heart and be be brief, and be understood to fit in with the prayerfulness of the meeting; we have a chance to turn it into a discussion after the meeting is broken by the host saying "Good evening".

What's New
We email the Zoom links for virtual meetings and and share updates in the MMFP Weekly Bulletin.
We have just updated our attendance and mask policy for in-person Worship as our monthly meeting (like the rest of our country) continues to respond to changing conditions of the pandemic.
- In-person: MMFP welcomes vaccinated members and attenders of the MMFP faith community* to worship on First Day provided they wear a mask. We look forward to welcoming others when circumstances allow.
- Both in-person and online Meeting for Worship will continue on Sundays at 10:30 - at least until 9/5/2021.

In his article (link above), MMFP member Paul Laskow explains the stewardship of a historical trust under the care of the monthly meeting, originally intended for Black students at Anthony Benezet's school. Benezet was a member of the Philadelphia Monthly Meeting in the late eighteenth century.
