Old Kennett Meeting Old Kennett is one of the oldest extant Friends meeting houses in the Delaware Valley, erected sometime between 1718 and 1731.

The Religious Society of Friends was founded by George Fox in mid-17th century England during the upheaval of the English Civil War.

Old Kennett Meeting House has an area set aside for green burials, using sustainable and environmentally responsible practices. Green burial regulations in this area are as follows:

The graveyard at Old Kennett Meetinghouse dates also from the early eighteenth century. It is graced with many massive historic trees, including two Pennsylvania champion trees, sassafras and Aeschylus.
