Pennsdale Friends Meeting
We invite you to worship with us.
We come from a variety of backgrounds and have a diversity of beliefs.
We share a practice of silent worship.
Please join us on Sunday morning at 11:00 am at Pennsdale Monthly Meeting.
To reach Pennsdale from Williamsport or from I-80 on the east bank of the Susquehanna take I-180 to the Halls-Pennsdale exit. Turn east on US 220 and within a mile, look for a Y as you approach Pennsdale Village; bear left to the main street of Pennsdale. The meetinghouse is on a hill on your left.

What's New
Lycoming College students once again came to help Pennsdale Friends with raking and bagging leaves, collecting sticks, cleaning up flower beds, and burial ground tasks during our annual Fall work day, sharing a meal and conversation on the porch, as well.
The "Quaker Rake" has become a tradition valued by both the fraternity and the meeting.
Thank you to all who helped!
Pennsdale Friends regret that we must cancel this year's community Carol Sing, so that we do not contribute to the spread of COVID-19, which is surging.
Upper Susquehanna Quarter has cancelled our annual Quarterly Meeting for Singing, which would normally be held this month at the meeting house, as well.
While we cannot gather to sing, because of the need to keep others and ourselves safe, we can be joined in the Spirit.
Celebrating that of God in everyone by holding the whole world in the Light
The Pennsdale Carol Sing is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, December 19th at 8 p.m., Covid-19 permitting. Please check this web site for further updates. We will post a notice at the meeting house, as well.
Pennsdale Friends Meeting annual fall work day - supported by members of TKE from our local college community
11/13/2021
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All help is welcomed.
Pennsdale's annual Carol Sing is cancelled this year to protect the community from Covid-19 transmission by supporting public health advisories to avoid indoor gatherings. We will leave song books and candles on the outdoor benches of the meeting house on December 20 if any family groupings wish to sing outdoors and not miss their annual tradition. As in other public settings, masks are required. Please keep substantial distance between family groups and use care, especially while walking and parking. Friends wish you peace, comfort, health, and Light, now and in the coming year.
