...and many thanks to Hollister Knowlton for her dedicated service to the Philadelphia Quarter. After worship, our wonderful hosts, Chestnut Hill Friends offered a bountiful spread of delicious food that nurtured fellowship before delving into spiritual business and social concerns.
The day was very full, starting with excellent worship together. Benches full, with regular Arch Street folks, Quarter Friends and visitors and guests. Hospitality was abundant of food and friendly with conversations, prior to two presentors and the business meeting. Draft Minutes of this session are linked below.

Attend a Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting (PQM)!
The Quarter meets quarterly, four times a year: January, April, July and October, on the fourth Sunday - except in July, when we gather on third Sunday before Yearly Annual Sessions. (Basically the same routine as we did in 1683.)

April 22, 2018
The Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting on July 22nd, 2018 was an amazing, spirit filled gathering. Hosted at and by the Ujima Friends Peace Center, the event was filled with Spirit - in worship, in hospitality, program and business. A large turnout swelled the Worship room, and many F/friends stayed for a bountiful spread, and an inspiring presentation. Dr. Ayesha Imani shared the remarkable achievements of the Ujima Friends Peace Center in its first year, grounded in Spirit, created collaboratively, with and for the local community.
There is a wealth of resources for Seekers in the Philadelphia Quarter and beyond. Aside from the wonderful opportunities to worship at monthly meetings, there are organizations, spaces and events - as well as online networks.
The Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting on April 22nd, 2018 was a wonderful experience for all who attended, in part due to the famed Green Street hospitality, ie "the eatin' meeting" and a wonderful experiential program that was facilliated by Green Street members Tracey Smith and Valerie Anderson on "Spiritual Strengthening and Healing". Refreshed with tools to nourish ourselves and our communities - participants joined in for a productive business session. Minutes will be posted shortly.
