Friday, January 20, at noon, Friends are invited to gather at Raleigh Friends Meeting House to hold our country and its elected officials in the Light. Please remember that curbside parking is not permitted in our block until after 5 PM or weekends, and we have no parking agreement with CBI for weekdays. Spaces 1-8 in the parking lot behind BB&T Bank are available.

Saturday, January 21, 9:00 a.m. You are also invited to meet prior to the Women's March on Raleigh, for a brief time of centering and reflection before the march, which will assemble at 10:00 a.m. in front of the Marriott on Fayetteville and step off at 10:30 for a rally at Moore Square. Peace and Social Concerns Committee has approved the use of the Raleigh Friends Meeting banner for the march. If you would like to carpool or bus downtown information will be available.  (ALL people are welcome to participate.) Event details can be found at womensmarchonraleigh.org.

Tar River Friends is a Quaker worship group located in southern Franklin county (just north of Wake Forest).  Starting on January 22, 2017, we will host silent Meeting for Worship on second and fourth First Days. Raleigh Friends so moved are welcome to visit with us and join in the worship.
