Second Hour discussion on October 4 will feature Deborah Shaw from Guilford College leading a conversation titled:  "Making Sense of Sense of the Meeting- Discernment in the context of Friends business meeting." Deborah suggested a brief reading list for folks who can access these: 1) Pendle Hill pamphlet #307 "Beyond Consensus: Salvaging Sense of the Meeting" by Barry Morley, 2) Pendle Hill pamphlet # 406 "The Mind of Christ: Bill Taber on Meeting for Business" edited by Michael Birkel, & 3) Listening Spirituality Vol. II by Patricia Loring p. 85-89. Deborah plans to bring some handouts as well.
