The New Jim Crow reading group will meet at the Raleigh Friends meetinghouse Thursday, August 20 at 6:30pm. You may bring your own meal, if desired. We will be discussing Chapter Four: The Cruel Hand (38 pages), which is the chapter on how the caste system operates once people are released from prison. This will be lead by Rudy.
