The New Jim Crow reading group will meet at the Raleigh Friends meetinghouse Thursday, September 10 at 6:30pm. You may bring your own meal, if desired. We will be discussing Chapter Six: The Fire This Time (43 pages), which is the chapter which discusses how the presence of the New Jim Crow means for the future of civil rights advocacy. This will be lead by Sue.
