Friends General Conference

Together we nurture the spiritual vitality of Friends

Raleigh Friends Meeting Retreat

As you may recall, RFM's Ministry and Counsel Committee has been working on an RFM retreat.  Expectations and desires for the retreat were expressed at a second hour in July 2016.
Attached and pasted below (forgive formatting errors) is a draft agenda based on the feedback we received. The agenda also includes pricing.
The date for the RFM retreat is May 6 and 7 at the Avila Center in Durham.  Pricing includes 3 meals (lunch & dinner on Saturday; breakfast on Sunday); there are separate prices for overnighters and commuters.  We need a minimum of 12 people to overnight to avoid paying meeting room fees; and part of the community building will be spending time together.
We encourage you to attend!  All Members and Attenders are welcome.  It will be a time to build our community ties and ponder our faith.  And, of course, experience some fun and laughter.
Please let us know if you are willing to commit to attend the retreat so that we can go ahead and pay the fee to hold the facility. Please rsvp via email to Deborah by Feb. 8, indicating if you will overnight or be a commuter for one or both days.  Don't stay away for financial reasons; we have scholarships available.
