Laura Magnani of AFSC’s Healing Justice Program will speak about the American Friends Service Committee’s Healing Justice Program in Oakland that works to reduce reliance on incarceration and other punitive approaches and replace them with restorative and healing practices.

The program concentrates on: mass incarceration, long term isolation, police militarization, and the promotion of healing alternatives.
