On behalf of the Spiritual Accountability Group supporting Stan Searl in his leading to conduct a research project on the Gathered Meeting, we would like to invite you to participate in an online program at the Ben Lomond Quaker Center on February 26 - 28, 2021. The program will be led by Stan and eldered by Cynthia Cuza. Please see below for instructions on how to register.
 
The workshop explores various themes and challenges about the paradox of preparation for the Quaker gathered meeting. Together, using a Quaker contemplative inquiry approach, we will reflect upon four main themes connected to spiritual preparation that emerged from a research project about the gathered meeting experience
The letting go of the ego
Various forms of prayer as preparatory practices
Practicing worship together
Deeper vocal ministry
The workshop will be via Zoom, and details for zoom access will be provided by email after registration.
 
The schedule is as follows:
 
Friday, February 26, 7.00 p.m. - 9.00 p.m. PST
Saturday, February 27, 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. PST (with an hour for lunch)
Sunday, February 28, 9.00 a.m. -11.00 a.m. PST
