Easton Day Celebration!

Cat Greenstreet

Easton Day at Easton Friends' South Meeting House will feature a presentation by Cat Greenstreet. Her topic will be "How Do We Meet One Another? Healing Habits of the Heart for Our Time." Since 2006, Cat has been a facilitator for the Center for Courage and Renewal, an organization founded by Quaker author Parker J. Palmer.  She is skilled at helping people from all spiritual traditions find the inner voice that we know guides us in our Meetings and our personal lives. Her retreats are based on the "Circle of Trust" approach, described in Palmer’s book A Hidden Wholeness. They offer a sacred time and place for connecting who we are with what we do in the world.  Her presentation is an opportunity to discover more about these teachings of Palmer and the Center for Courage and Renewal.

All are welcome to this presentation, which will begin at 1:30 p.m. We are also invited to all other events of Easton Day. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m., followed by the 10:30 a.m telling of the “Feathers of Peace” story and Meeting for Worship. Potluck lunch will occur at noon, followed by singing.

There will be a program for children twelve years old and under during worship. If you want more information, you may call Jeannine at 518-587-8932 or Bill at 518-677-8934.
