Bill Chapman, lobbiest for the Indiana Friends Committee on Legislation, will be visiting West Newton Friends September 10 and 17. Bill has been asked to talk about issues facing the upcoming legislative sessions, coach Friends in ways we can helpfully engage with our senators and representatives, and update us on the status of hate crime legislation in Indiana, one of only five states that so far have no hate crimes laws.

       Bill will be speaking during the education hour starting at 10:45, following 9:30 worship and 10:30 coffee/fellowship. All are welcome.
